Additionally, a port of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is allegedly anticipated for later stages of the Switch 2 lifecycle. Launching AC Mirage on the new Switch would be a win-win, allowing Ubisoft to extend its reach to more gamers while enabling Nintendo to showcase the upgraded performance capabilities of the Switch 2.
But Ubisoft will need to offer a compelling reason for players to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Given it’s been more than a year since its release, many gamers have already had their fill, and with the game already accessible on devices like the Steam Deck, the excitement of playing it on a handheld has waned.
