Man, where do I even start with this one? So, Infold Games is doin’ their thing again with an update for that Infinity Nikki game. It’s this free-to-play, open-world, dress-up adventure. Yep, that’s a mouthful. Anyway, something called the Danqing Season is rolling in, tagging along with patch 1.8 — oh, and it’s supposed to drop on July 30. Nothing like waiting, right?
The funny thing is, these updates aren’t new. I mean, they just did the Blue Tears Season like a week ago? Time flies when you’re dressing up characters, I guess. But here’s the kicker — some of this stuff you can only snag for a short window, from July 30 to September 2. So, you know, plan your virtual wardrobe accordingly.
This Danqing Season — it’s got this whole traditional Chinese vibe. Picture ink paintings but, like, in game form. And there’s Danqing Island where Nikki and her sidekick Momo wander around. They’re off to solve some mystery about disappearing villagers. Think dreamlike detective story meets digital dress-up.
Oh, and they’ve tossed in a new boss. This dude’s called Inkshade: Painting Loong. I imagine it looks kinda… brush-strokey? Who knows. Anyway, they’ve also spiced things up with mini-games. One lets you play Weiqi, which is fancy talk for Go.
And costumes! Because why not? You’ve got the Clouded Loong, Forever Bond, and Danqing Craft outfits. I’m picturing a closet busting at the seams.
Before you dive back into this chaos, maybe check out some fresh codes. You don’t wanna miss out on the goodies. There’s this event calendar on Steam — yep, because organizing virtual events is a thing now.
Alright, that’s all the rambling I’ve got about this patch. Catch you on the next update – if I remember.
