I’m not sure why, but Supervive 1.0 feels like a little spark in the MOBA world, you know? Last time I got this pumped was when I was knocking out rookies with Ragnaros in Heroes of the Storm. And sure, I usually stick to my old pal, League of Legends, but this? This is frenetic, bursting with color, and just—well, promising. Theorycraft Games just tossed out a fresh trailer ahead of launch, but oh wait… it’s live right now!
So here’s the thing, Supervive 1.0 is a whole different animal from what we saw in the open beta. I mean, Joe Tung, the main guy at Theorycraft, is talking about it like it’s a complete makeover. Tons of polish, new content, you name it.
Now listen, keeping players hooked is the big challenge. Supervive is great—seriously, the fast-paced action, the unique spin on an old genre—it’s all there. But, confession time, I kinda drifted away fairly quick. Tung seems convinced the answer lies in more depth, replayability, and variety. Whatever that means, right?
Oh, and they’ve rolled out this thing called the Armory in 1.0. It’s like, you earn Prisma by, uh, taking down others and grabbing objectives. Spend it on upgrades. But let’s be real, grindy stuff isn’t my jam, especially if it messes with gameplay balance. I can picture casual players getting left behind, and that could seriously hurt long-term interest.
That said, if Theorycraft nails the time you need to hit your goals, they’re really onto something. If you’re curious, check out Tung’s full breakdown.
Originally, Supervive was supposed to drop tomorrow, July 24, but surprise—it’s already here. So what’s stopping you? Grab it on Steam, and hey, I’ll have an updated Supervive tier list ready soon with some tips and tricks.
