Boy, where do we even start? The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase Event! Yeah, that was something. I mean, a whole lotta games were on display. Let’s just jump right in—because, I dunno, I’m all over the place with excitement. Or maybe it’s just the caffeine kicking in. Who knows?
First up—SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide. Yep, you can finally pre-order it today! It’s set to hit the Xbox Series X|S on November 18. I’m not sure why, but the combo of SpongeBob, Patrick, and—wait for it—David Hasselhoff, just, like, makes sense? That’s a thing now. Switching between SpongeBob and Patrick? Apparently, that’s been on fans’ wishlists forever.
Oh, and you get some snazzy costumes if you pre-order. Not gonna lie, that Natural Costume Pack DLC sounds fun. There’s even more stuff in the Ghostly Digital and Ultimate Editions, though.
Okay, so onto Gothic 1 Remake—a demo just dropped! This takes me back. You dig into the Nyras Prologue—no spoilers, promise. It’s not even in the final game, so it feels kinda exclusive, right? Gothic’s like the grandparent of RPGs, and they’re throwing in some goodies for the veterans. Classics 1, 2, and 3 are set for 2026. Keeps getting better!
Now, the trailer for The Eternal Life of Goldman quite literally threw me off in a good way. It’s moody, it’s vibrant. And Goldman, oh man, what a character! This game’s like a layered cake of stories. Maybe I got a bit emotional there—but really, it demands exploration.
Reanimal is another buzzword here. A horror vibe, kinda expected from the creators of Little Nightmares. The reveal showed some spooky things—monsters and whatnot. Plus, online and couch co-op? I’m in.
Jumping over to Tides of Tomorrow, it looks like a wild ride. The developer Digixart spoke about new asynchronous gameplay—whatever that is, sounds fancy! Apparently, decisions really matter? That’s a big thing.
Wreckfest 2 is revving up for 2026. It’s demolition meets racing. The damage model is, like, so realistic. You either drive hard or, you know, dive fast, haha.
Titan Quest II—woo boy, another one for 2026! You get to pick your masteries and create your own myth, exploring places untouched by mortal feet. Fight gods, why not?
And then there’s Wreckreation, where you can showcase your inner maniac. The trailer had me hooked. Building crazy tracks over a dinosaur’s head sounds like a dream. It’s a sandbox with wheels.
Oh, almost forgot to mention—Gamescom is at the end of the month! You can actually try some of these games. Reanimal, SpongeBob—meet the brains behind these games, too. It’s gonna be epic.
Yeah, that’s a wrap. Or maybe it isn’t. Who knows? But I’m definitely looking forward to what’s coming next.
