As we gear up for the holiday season, let’s dive into the latest happenings on the Nintendo Switch eShop. This week’s lineup is packed with events and challenges as Fortnite and Disney: Dreamlight Valley embrace the holiday cheer.

Pokémon enthusiasts, remember Pokémon Violet and Scarlet? They’ve had a lot of company since their release. Despite the crowd of games, there’s a great reason to revisit them—the current Tera Raid Battle Event. Running through January 5, it’s your chance to snag a Shiny Rayquaza!

• EA SPORTS FC 25 – Dive into the holiday vibes with the Winter Wildcards campaign! Spruce up your Football Ultimate Team with festive flair in EA Sports FC 25 on the Nintendo Switch. Kicking off December 20, this event runs through January 3.

• Disney Dreamlight Valley – Join the Gift of Giving celebrations from December 18 to 31 in Disney Dreamlight Valley! Participate in the Build a Snowman Event, craft gifts for villagers, go fishing for festivity, and watch for surprises on December 25!

• Overwatch 2 – Unwrap some holiday magic as the Winter Wonderland returns! Tackle challenges to unlock frosty rewards, including the Winter Chic Widowmaker skin. From Mei’s Snowball Offensive to Freezethaw Elimination, there’s something festive for every player, running now until January 6.

• Rocket League – Feeling chilly? That means Frosty Fest 2024 is here! This year’s festival brings an avalanche of challenges, rewards, and Golden Gifts from December 10 to December 31.

• Apex Legends – Climb aboard for the Winter’s Haunt Event with the Winter Express limited-time mode! Collect Ice Gems to nab rewards in the Reward Shop, with 30 iced-out cosmetics and a chance to snag 150 Heirloom Shards, Bloodhound’s “Winter’s Bane” heirloom, and the reactive Hemlock skin, “Attunement.” The Winter’s Haunt Event runs through January 6.
