Review of the Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB AIO Cooler: Impressive Precision, High Price Tag

Corsair is a name probably familiar to most PC enthusiasts, especially given its rich history in the world of computer components. Known initially for its high-quality memory products, Corsair has since branched out into a wide array of offerings over the last twenty years. Their gradual shift from a focus on memory to a more diverse product lineup transformed Corsair into the influential giant we know today.

A shining star in Corsair’s portfolio is undoubtedly their all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers. It’s worth noting that their first steps into liquid cooling back in 2003 didn’t exactly go as planned. But sticking to their guns, Corsair re-entered the market with AIO coolers crafted for the modern user—easy to install, fuss-free, and a testament to innovation. This strategic pivot paid off, and now their AIO coolers are among the company’s most acclaimed products, continually expanding with new models.

This review zeroes in on Corsair’s newest AIO cooler, the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX. It’s a close relative of the iCUE LINK H150i RGB but is built with notable performance upgrades, thanks to a more robust pump. The TITAN 360 RX upholds Corsair’s commitment to quality and seamlessly fits into the iCUE ecosystem, offering an efficient, single-cable installation that makes setup a breeze. This makes it a distinctive piece in Corsair’s impressive lineup of coolers.

Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RGB AIO Cooler Specifications

  • Type: All-in-One Liquid Cooler
  • Dimensions: 396 x 120 x 55 mm (radiator with fan)
  • Fans: 3 x 120 mm MagLev Fans, 300-2100 RPM
  • RGB: Yes (ARGB)
  • Supported Sockets: Intel: LGA1851 / LGA1700, AMD: AM5 / AM4
  • Warranty: 6 Years
  • Price: $200

Packaging & Bundle

When the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX arrived, it came in a large, sturdy cardboard box, bearing the recognizable black and yellow Corsair colors. The package showcases the cooler’s eye-catching design right on the front. Inside, everything is securely nestled in custom cardboard inserts, keeping the cooler and its components safe during shipping.

Everything you need for installation is included in the package. This includes all the mounting hardware for both AMD and Intel setups, each neatly packed in separate pouches to make the process straightforward. Also in the box is the iCUE Link Hub, an essential element for the cooler’s functionality within the iCUE ecosystem.

The power for the iCUE Link Hub is supplied via a 6-pin PCI Express connector, which seems like Corsair’s effort to avoid relying on a cumbersome Molex cable. Most users eyeing the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX likely own a powerful power supply with extra PCIe connectors—particularly in systems set up with modern graphics cards using 12VHPWR/12V-6×6 connectors. However, if your setup already uses every available PCI Express connector, you might need to either upgrade your PSU or opt for a Molex-to-PCIe adapter. Given the hub’s minimal power needs, it would’ve been handy if Corsair included an adapter or offered an alternative power option.

The Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB AIO Liquid Cooler

The first look at the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB cooler might leave you thinking it resembles many other 360 mm AIO coolers out there. Yet, give it a closer inspection, and you’ll notice something rare: a completely wire-free design, lending it an impressively clean and neat appearance. It follows the traditional AIO layout—a radiator, two hoses, and a block with an integrated copper CPU contact plate and a mini liquid pump. Corsair uses flexible, low-permeation rubber tubing encased in black sleeves, which are far more forgiving than those in most other systems.

The radiator is sizable, coming in at 396 mm long, making it necessary for your case to support three 120 mm fans lined up vertically and offer enough space for added bulk. The radiator’s 27 mm thickness calls for 55 mm of total clearance when coupled with fans. It features a dual-pass cross-flow design, with precisely soldered fins onto delicate oblong tubes—pretty standard among AIO coolers. Due to its slender build, airflow resistance is low, optimizing the radiator for high performance, even with low-pressure fans.

Corsair pre-mounts three RX120 RGB fans onto the radiator, allowing for a truly cable-free setup. These fans connect seamlessly along their frames, needing just one cable to hook up to the hub, handling power delivery and ARGB/speed control. All sides of the fan frames, including the inner rim, are illuminated by LEDs behind diffusers, creating a captivating light display. Notably, one fan boasts a sensor mounted on its supports. Utilizing magnetic levitation motors—a rare but prized feature due to their reliability and silent operation despite the cost—these fans operate within a wide 300-2100 RPM range. The main difference between the TITAN 360 RX and its predecessor, the iCUE LINK H150i RGB, appears to be these fans: the earlier model used QX120 fans, which reached up to 2400 RPM. Additionally, the fan’s side plates can be removed for customized looks.

The cooler’s block assembly is not just large but ingeniously designed, masking its complexity beneath a squircle casing. The top portion houses numerous LEDs, casting immersive lighting effects. The top plate can be removed and adjusted to suit any system orientation, allowing for easy aesthetic modifications, particularly appealing to those equipped with 3D printing or CNC capabilities. Notably absent are external connectors or wires, streamlining the design.

At the heart of the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB is a copper contact plate secured by eight screws, ensuring it snugly fits against the CPU. Although its surface isn’t polished to a mirror sheen, it is crafted to ensure effective thermal energy transfer. Pre-applied to the contact plate is Corsair’s high-grade XTM70 thermal paste, noted for its excellent thermal conductivity, thus enhancing cooling performance. One drawback is it allows only one-time installation, requiring users to buy extra thermal paste space issues arise during initial setup.

When everything is connected and up and running, the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB comes alive with vibrant lighting, all controlled via the iCUE LINK interface, allowing for an array of unique customizations through Corsair’s robust iCUE software. From aesthetically pleasing effects to practical, hardware-driven lighting like temperature indicators or alert systems—the possibilities are vast. Moreover, the iCUE LINK hub syncs all Corsair devices, enabling creative inter-device connectivity. For example, users could configure compatible keyboards to serve as visual fan RPM indicators or sync the cooler’s lights with a Corsair mouse’s active profile.
