Although setting up these accounts is free, some PC gamers have found such requirements annoying in the past, much like with games such as Helldivers 2. It’s a factor you might want to consider before making your purchase.
### Is Spider-Man 2 Verified on Steam Deck?
At the moment, there’s no confirmation whether Spider-Man 2 will have Steam Deck verification at its launch. However, it’s worth noting that many of Sony’s other flagship single-player titles, including the previous Spider-Man games by Insomniac—both the original and Miles Morales—are verified for Steam Deck.
