Pochacco will set you on a mission to hunt down this stylish Gudetama as part of a weekly quest during the first two weeks, aptly named “The Laziest Egg” and “The Laziest Eggs.” While you won’t have an ongoing quest reminder for Tophat Gudetama after you complete these tasks, Pochacco will still give you a nudge at the week’s start to keep an eye out for him.

Once you spot this elusive character, all you need to do is capture a snapshot of him with your camera, just like you would with the other undercover Gudetamas sprinkled around the island.

For the week of February 10, you’ll find Tophat Gudetama lurking underwater near the brink of a large chasm, positioned to the east of Moon Island. Prepare to get your feet wet as you’ll need to swim and dive to reach him.

As a reward for your effort, you’ll be granted the plans to craft Decorative Gudetama #45.
