Review of “Cozy Stitch Puzzle” for Nintendo Switch

So there’s this game I stumbled upon, Cozy Stitch Puzzle from RedDeerGames. It’s kinda like that thing you pick up when you want to chill out, you know? Full of these colorful figures you gotta complete. Honestly, sounds like a good way to spend a lazy afternoon if you ask me.

Alright, so the game’s got, what, 126 puzzles or something? Yeah, split up in these funny categories like Home Huggers, Barnyard Buddies, and Mystic Mates. I kid you not, there’s even a Fruity Frenzy. Like, where do they come up with these names? Anyway, each category has 14 puzzles to keep you busy.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. You’ve got three difficulty settings – Cozy (sounds comforting, right?), Medium, and Hard. Cozy’s like your basic 3-5 piece puzzles. Medium ramps it up to 10-25 pieces, and Hard’s got you dealing with up to 26 pieces. Random every time you play too. Keeps you on your toes, kind of like when your cat tries to attack your shoelaces.

And OMG, you can play this on your Nintendo Switch, using either the Joy-Con or just poke around the touchscreen like a bored kid in a dentist’s waiting room, if you’re in Portable Mode or got a Switch Lite. With the Joy-Con, you’re using the left stick to move the cursor around. If you need to spin a piece around – sure, it’s a puzzle not a dance floor – hit ZL or ZR.

Did I mention the price? Talking $6.99, which feels like, what, the price of a fancy coffee these days? You get all these puzzles and the chance to zen out. Like, what’s not to like?

Anyway, not to turn this into a sales pitch—I mean, I’m not exactly remembering why I started this—if you get into this, it might become your next couch companion. If that makes sense. Cozy Stitch Puzzle may not change your life, but it might just brighten up a rainy day. Or not. Who knows.
