However, neither Guerrilla Games nor PlayStation have dropped any hints about expanding its availability further, at least until now.
An interesting tidbit emerged from a report by Just Play It, an Algerian news outlet, on December 15. They not only claim that an Xbox version is on the horizon but also suggest that the game might be available on Microsoft’s consoles within a few months, potentially arriving between December 2024 and early 2025.
But let’s circle back to how LEGO Horizon Adventures has fared since its release. Despite its multi-platform debut, the game has seemingly not lived up to commercial expectations, with reports highlighting underwhelming launch sales. SteamDB data showed a peak of 602 concurrent players on PC, marking a less-than-stellar performance compared to other titles, such as Concord. This has led to speculation that an Xbox release might be a strategic move to boost its sales and player base.
That being said, it’s unclear if the underperforming sales truly motivated the decision for an Xbox port. If the report’s timeline is correct, plans for the Xbox iteration likely began well before any sales figures came into play.
First-party PlayStation games venturing into Xbox territory aren’t entirely unheard of, though they are rare. For instance, MLB The Show has been appearing on Xbox platforms since 2021, thanks to MLB Advanced Media making that call rather than Sony itself.

Whether or not LEGO Horizon Adventures follows the path of MLB The Show, expanding its horizons to include Xbox players, remains to be seen.
