Kinda vague on that—left me curious, to be honest.
Almost forgot, October 26 marks a sorta milestone for Ark — two years since it peeked out on PC, early access-style. Then, boom, next month, it snuck onto Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Since then, Studio Wildcard’s been sprinkling updates, whether tiny tweaks or chunky content bombs. This one’s… a tweak, mostly.
So, latest patch dropped Friday, June 27. Version number climbed to 67.49, just fun facts if you’re keeping count. Focused on sorting out progression issues, making visuals less glitchy—like, creatures behaving better, I guess?
Oh! Specific bugs? Those boss fights and crafting stuff like gunpowder were acting up, not counting milestones right. They sort of fixed that. And hey, on the Ragnarok map—cool bit, actually—beaver dams now count towards looting milestones. Why? No clue, but it does.
Randomly, Astraeos’ Astral variants (try saying that ten times fast) now count towards the Alpha creature milestones. Was supposed to from the get-go, I think.
Imagine your shoulder pets pulling a Houdini act. That was a bug—now fixed. Same with some funky swimming animations, and dinos born looking confused about their levels. Cleaned up those mix-ups. And there’s a fix on the paint preview system—’bout time.
I was rambling—oh! Hotbar was acting weird with those cosmetic structures. Fixed, apparently. Also, that exploit I mentioned? No details. A bit sneaky, right?
