Alright, so here’s this game, “Grit and Valor – 1949” — yeah, they’re adding VR to it soon. Like, you’re gonna be able to play it on those virtual reality headsets, you know, Quest, PSVR 2, and SteamVR. Kinda makes you wonder why everything’s going virtual these days, right?
So, this game came out on PC not too long ago. Basically, you get to be the boss of these tiny mech soldiers. They’re adorable but fierce — like cats with lasers, maybe? You’re supposed to take down these bad guys called the Evil Axis who, for some reason, have mechanical minions. And we’re in Europe, I guess. Go figure.
You’re in charge of picking how your mechs fight, which pilots get to scream at each other over comms, and swapping mech parts like you’re building some sci-fi Lego set. Legs, cockpits, the whole shebang. Got that mental image in your head yet?
Anyway, Milky Tea Studios, the original developer crew, teamed up with these VR experts, nDreams. Apparently, you’ll be right there in the action, moving mechs with your actual hands. Wild, right? And hey, nDreams aren’t just helping out, they’re running the whole VR show.
Mark your calendars, or don’t, but come August 21st, “Grit and Valor – 1949” hits the stores — Horizon for Quest and the PlayStation Store for PS5 and PSVR 2. Plus, folks on Steam are getting a free update for VR. Isn’t that just… nice?
I could go on, but I think that’s where we let this one breathe a bit. Till next time or whatever.
