So, you ever have one of those days where something big is happening, and you’re just… kind of riding the wave? That’s today for Honkai: Star Rail fans—yeah, all of you eager beavers waiting for that first collab event. Finally, Fate/stay night is crashing the party in this free-to-play RPG. Why we all love free stuff, right?

We just got patch 3.4, and it’s not just another number. Oh no, it brought more jazz than just those visual novel vibes. Wasn’t that patch supposed to bring something else? Anyway, we’ll deal with it later.

Now, here’s the kicker—we kinda knew what was coming because, well, developers spilled some beans back in June. Seriously, can’t they resist hyping things up? Obviously, the big talk is about the new guest stars from Fate/stay night. Everybody’s talking about them!

Our girl Saber lands in Honkai: Star Rail as this flashy 5-Star Wind/Destruction hero. Looks cool, right? And then there’s Archer, another 5-Star, but all Quantum/Hunt-y. Little secret: log in during the collab and Archer’s yours without lifting a finger. Saber? Nope, you gotta work it. And Archer’s all set to hit 60 without breaking a sweat.

Oh, and have y’all seen those banners? Four of them, just waving around for Saber, Archer, and their fancy light cones. Weird thing, though—4-star characters or weapons are kinda shy this time. But hey, Saber’s light cone is a guarantee after 200 warps. So, there’s that.

What’s intriguing—well, sorta—is that none of these Fate folks have English voices. Yeah, seems like quite the statement considering MiHoYo’s not-so-friendly stance against the US voice actors being, you know, strikers. Makes you think, huh?

Moving along, there’s this new Trailblaze Continuance, called Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail—name sounds like a bedtime story, or maybe a Sunday sermon, who knows? Dive into the exclusive combat challenge thingy until August 11 (mark it!). Missed it? Not a disaster, since it’ll join the Conventional Memoir eventually. But some rewards? Yeah, they’re playing hard to get.

Circling back to early July, they snuck in some shiny new characters not related to Fate. Our old friend Phainon; he went from just chilling around to being a full-blown 5-Star hero. Destruction type, naturally.

And oh my gosh, the reruns! Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle waved hello in Phase 1. Round 2 starts July 23—Firefly’s coming back, with a new look! Prepare for Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade to make their encore.

Patch 3.4 didn’t just stop there. It gave some love to Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade—enhanced mechanics or whatnot. Jingliu got some upgraded moves too, which kinda makes her comeback a treat.
