After a whirlwind week of chaos, we’re back to what we now consider the usual routine on the Switch OG.

In our flurry of activity last week, we somehow overlooked Namco’s Assault Plus, a classic that slipped through our fingers. The previous week unfolded in a blur, with the buzz around the Switch 2 Direct and the ensuing spectacle, mostly fueled by 20500. Now, a week scattered with eShop releases feels almost nostalgic. Yet, there are a few gems on the horizon. Star Overdrive, the hovercraft-centric game that got a quick mention in a past Direct, is set to launch soon. Can you believe it’s been just a week and a half since then? Time sure flies. Battlefield Waltz from Idea Factory/Otomate, with localization by IFI, is also on the release list. I’ll be keeping an eye on potential day-one updates before diving in.

Also catching our eye this week is "Promise Mascot Agency," yet another Snow Bros. installment, and a look back to 1983 with this week’s EggConsole game—a simple maze adventure. Pyramid Warp seems like a safe bet for those not in Japan.
