Okay, so here’s something wild. Nintendo tossed out an update for Donkey Kong Bananza. It’s now version 1.1.0, and if you’re like me, you might not even notice these things unless someone tells you. But whatever—here I am, telling you.
So, what’s the big whoop? They threw in this thing called GameShare. I mean, what does that even mean, right? Turns out it’s for Co-op Play. You know, when you’re not actually soloing and need a friend to help you not crash and burn. There’re like, two options now—"Local User" and "GameChat." I guess it means more ways to mess around with a buddy (or argue, because co-op isn’t always as grand as it sounds).
But here’s where it gets vague, or sneaky—depends on how you look at it. They’ve done “various adjustments.” I mean, what? Did Mario find a bug and squish it without telling us? Maybe the banana peels got slipperier. Or the barrels roll smoother. Who knows, right?
Anyway, back to—I don’t even know what. Maybe it’s just that sometimes these updates feel almost magical? Like, what do they really change? But hey, if it makes the game better, I’ll take it. Sort of like adding a sprinkle of fairy dust but without the sparkles.
