Oh man, RimWorld is climbing the charts again. Can you believe it’s back in Steam’s Top Ten? With this new Odyssey DLC out, it’s shot up 58 spots to take No.3. That’s wild, right? There’s a 20% off deal too, which probably didn’t hurt. The Odyssey thingy itself is the fifth best-seller right now, dropped on July 11th if I remember correctly.
And then, of course, there’s Counter-Strike 2 just chilling at No.1, like it’s no big deal. PUBG: Battlegrounds decided to entertain the idea of a crossover with K-pop’s Aespa, and bam, up to second place. What a move.
Valve’s Steam Deck? Yeah, it slipped to fourth, just above Marvel Rivals by NetEase, which zoomed up 25 spots. Why? A new season of content landed the same day as Odyssey. Coincidence? You tell me.
Meanwhile, Peak — this indie gem — slid four spots down to No.7 even though it’s moved 4.5 million units. How’s that for numbers? And Destiny 2? Back on the list at No.8, all thanks to The Edge of Fate expansion that showed up on July 15th. Timing is everything, folks.
NetEase strikes again with Naraka: Bladepoint at No.9, and then there’s Dead by Daylight, which, poor thing, fell to tenth place.
Here’s that chaotic list you wanted, the Steam Top Ten for the week ending July 15th:
1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. PUBG: Battlegrounds, Krafton
3. RimWorld, Ludeon Studios
4. Steam Deck, Valve
5. RimWorld – Odyssey, Ludeon Studios
6. Marvel Rivals, NetEase
7. Peak, Aggro Crab
8. Destiny 2, Bungie
9. Naraka: Bladepoint, NetEase
10. Dead by Daylight, Behaviour Interactive
Is this all surprising or what?
