Oh boy, so here we are again. Prime Day madness, right? It’s the last day or whatever, so if you’ve been eyeing those VR deals, maybe now’s the time to pull the trigger. Or don’t. I’m not your mom.
Anyway, the Quest 3S — which, by the way, came out last October — usually sets you back $300 for the 128 GB version, and if you want to be fancy, it’s $400 for the 256 GB one. Practically does the same stuff as the Quest 3, but it’s a bit chunkier. I mean, not everyone wants to spend big bucks for a slim model, am I right?
So today’s the day. The big finale. Both versions are a bit cheaper — $250 and $330. Kind of like finding forgotten cash in your old jeans. Nice surprise, but doesn’t change the world.
Now, don’t get distracted because there are bundles. The 128 GB one comes with this Gorilla Tag software set. No idea why it’s a big deal. Shiny Rocks in-game currency? Sure, why not. We all need shiny things.
And then, the 256 GB. They said it comes with Batman: Arkham Shadow (2024), but—it’s in both versions. Probably a marketing trick. Or maybe it’s like when you think you lost your keys but they’re in your pocket all along.
There’s also a bunch of extra stuff: straps and cables and whatnot. No magical discounts here, though. Buy what you want, I guess.
By the way, last Black Friday, they slashed these prices lower — like $300 plus a $75 Amazon card. Not that great now but still okay if you’re into things like Asgard’s Wrath 2 or Half-Life: Alyx. Speaking of games, connect to a PC and dive into another universe.
If you are indecisive and need a nudge, check our deep dive review. Yes, at $300, it seemed worth it then. Is it still a steal? Maybe. Or maybe it’s just what we tell ourselves.
Alright, I’m rambling. Take it or leave it — your call.
