Hey, have you heard? There’s this wild new video game thing coming out for the Nintendo Switch, called 40 Sports Games In 1. Sounds kinda overwhelming, right? Anyway, I stumbled upon it while scrolling through a feed — you know those feeds that just suck you in and suddenly it’s midnight and you’re wondering what happened to your day?
So, Maximum Entertainment (they’re behind it all) let everyone know we can get our hands on it soon. Breakfirst Games are the brains behind it, claiming it’s the biggest sports game collection anywhere. Like, ever? Hmm, could be exaggerating, but we’ll see.
The game kinda builds on another one they did before — 34 Sports Games In 1. Makes sense, doesn’t it? More numbers, more games. They’re adding six totally new sports. Wait, don’t rush me—I was getting there: Tug of War, Rowing Tow, High Jump, Taekwondo, and, get this, Snowball Fight and Triple Jump. I mean, snowball fights in a sports game? That’s kind of genius, actually.
And yeah, you can go solo if you’re feeling antisocial, or drag your family into it for some chaotic togetherness. Supposedly, you earn costumes as you play. How does a costume make you a better player? No clue, but hey, who doesn’t love dressing up a pixel character?
They threw a list of features at us, which got me thinking—who even needs that many sports in one game? Could be fun though, right? Football, bowling, and some more out-there stuff like paddling and taekwondo. I always mess up taekwondo, wish me luck.
Oh, and the new stuff too. Refreshing, maybe? Or maybe just a ploy to draw in suckers like me who can’t resist ‘new.’
August 28, 2025—mark it down. Digital release worldwide on the Nintendo eShop. American folks can touch the real thing with a physical release on September 25, 2025! Feels far off, yet… not.
Anyway, enough rambling. Should be a fun distraction from reality, and who knows, maybe I’ll get hooked on digital snowball fighting. Or not. You in?
