Wadjet Eye Games is at it again, setting a date for Old Skies on the Nintendo Switch. I mean, they’re really doing it this time. So, here’s the deal.
You’re Fia Quinn. Yep, just rolling with it as a time agent for ChronoZen. Your gig? Babysitting these seven travelers who’ve got both wanderlust and the cash to mess around in the past. Some are curious souls; others have old scores to settle. Your mission? Keep ’em happy but in line. No pressure, right? With history in play, it’s like—what could possibly go sideways?
So, the team at Wadjet Eye laid out the deets:
– Seven historical timescapes! From the rowdy bars of Prohibition to the gritty underworld of the Gilded Age, even the morning of 9/11. Not exactly a casual stroll.
– Crazy high-res graphics! Like, 1920 x 1080. That’s apparently three times whatever Unavowed had. I didn’t even know I cared, but hey.
– A bunch of mind-bending puzzles needing some serious time-travel logic. Pass me the aspirin.
– Death’s an option! You might kick the bucket, but with time travel, you get infinite do-overs. How generous.
– Tunes by Thomas Regin, the same guy who worked on Unavowed and Blackwell. Got a thing for his stuff? You’re covered.
– Full-blown voice acting! And it’s their biggest crew yet. Somebody went all out.
Mark your calendars for May 27, 2025. That’s when it hits the Nintendo eShop for Switch. Worldwide. Everywhere. All at once.
Oh, and there’s a trailer, but I got distracted. YouTube might have it. Probably.
