The weekend’s finally here, folks, and who doesn’t love a good deal, right? I’ve got a mishmash of stuff that might make you rush a bit — or not, depends on your mood. Anyway, here are some things snagging attention right now, for May 3, or whenever you read this.
### Monster Hunter Wilds for $54.99
Right, so Monster Hunter Wilds, still a big name in 2025 for reasons I can’t really wrap my head around. But hey, you save $15 on the PS5 version over at Woot. They say it’s more friendly for newcomers, whatever that means — maybe you won’t suck as much if you’re new or something. We rated it 8/10 once. Said they made it “smoother”… I guess smooth is fun? I dunno, maybe try it if you haven’t.
### 11th Gen iPad for $299
First thing you’ll notice, maybe, is this new iPad is a steal at $50 off! Runs on the A16 — sounds fast? Could be the new addition to your cluttered workspace. Personally, I’m all about using that Magic Keyboard and whatnot. You might not need the pricy iPad Air or Pro. But again, that’s just me rambling.
### Pre-Order Ghost of Yotei Now
So, Ghost of Yotei — set back in 1603 Japan. Apparently, you’re a guy called Atsu seeking to avenge… something. Details are kinda murky. Relives Ghost of Tsushima vibes, I suppose? Expectations are blurry at best. Rolling the dice if pre-orders intrigue you.
### Visions of Mana for $34.99
Here’s something rare: a Mana game after what, 20 years? It’s on sale this weekend. If you’re nostalgic or just miss the high-anxiety RPG days, this might be your jam. An 8/10 from us before, praised for its multi-layered class system. Whatever floats your boat.
### Xbox Series X for $479.99
This one’s causing a fuss: Xbox Series X just jacked up the price by $100. Old news, but now you’re looking at $599.99 — yikes. Except, Amazon still lists it at $479.99. Did someone goof? Looks like a decent save though. Who doesn’t like paying less?
### LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for $10
Here’s a shocker (or maybe not?): LEGO Star Wars going for about ten bucks on PS4. Hundreds of characters to collect, like, sounds overwhelming. Includes all nine movies plus some newbies from Disney+. Why not escape the galaxy for a bit?
### Super Mario Party Jamboree for $44.99
Ah, Mario Party — endless family feuds disguised as board games. With a potentially new Switch version around the corner, you might want to grab this older one for cheap — only $44.99 from Woot. Just remember, more editions mean more choices, obviously.
And that’s about it. Take it or leave it, your call. Have a wild weekend, or a tame one — up to you!
