Sure, let me take a shot at this.

So there’s this wild game called COLD VR — yeah, with all caps, no idea why that’s a thing. Anyway, it’s by these folks at ALLWARE, and Perp Games is pushing it out there. They’re doing this big update thing next month, and it’s got me thinking about… time? Really makes you ponder, doesn’t it?
Picture this: you know how in Superhot VR time kinda zips along when you do? Well, COLD VR flips that on its head. Like, you move and everything slows down. It’s like trying to walk through syrup while thinking a million miles a minute. I mean, are they messing with us or what?
This game first showed up back in February. But now they’re like, “Hey, let’s drop some more stuff in June.” Five new levels! For Quest and PC VR. So much for my weekend plans — not that I had any, to be real.
They’re also jazzing up the enemies. Tweaking the AI? Yeah, sure, maybe that means they won’t just stand around waiting for me to get my act together. Something about fixing up old levels and offering up these Backroom thingies as a side gig too.
Oh, and get this: they’re redoing the intro and main menu, probably because no one wants to spend forever pushing buttons to start. Seems logical, right?
Now, here’s the cool part — or is it the weird part? There’s this new way to catch weapons. I’m envisioning something like juggling, but probably less circus-like and more survival. There are room-scale antics, fancier graphics, and bHaptics support. Can already feel the buzz.
By the way, PSVR 2 is apparently on the horizon. Not sure what “near future” really means because time’s kind of wonky, like in the game. Who knows when that’ll drop.
Until then, it’s on the Horizon Store for all you Quest 2 folks, and on Steam if you’re a PC VR kind of person. Twenty bucks, give or take. But yeah, that’s the scoop for now.
